Greek Language Academy offers a wide range of course packages. All lessons are available in 10-hour, 20-hour (includes 10% discount) and 40-hour (includes 15% discount) packages. Please contact us to find out more information.

You may start your lessons at any point in the year. Lessons are offered continuously throughout the calendar year.

It is recommended that you book a free lesson to meet one of our teachers and find out what suits you. You can also take a Greek level test or check the list of courses offered at Greek Language Academy. Please contact us for more information.

You will schedule your monthly lessons with the help of your appointed teacher, according to your needs.

Each course is tailored to your own schedule and according to your teacher's availability. Depending on your language goals, it is recommended that you take a minimum of 4 hours per month.

To attend a lesson, you will need to have a computer, as well as access to an internet connection. You may also need a set of earphones or headphones. In addition, you will need to download Webex, Zoom or Skype on your computer desktop. If you are more familiar with any other video communication platform, please let your teacher know.

Each lesson lasts 60 minutes.

Lessons are scheduled at the beginning of each month, according to your needs and the teacher's availability. For lessons that begin later than 23:00 (GMT +2 hours), there is an extra 15% charge on the monthly course price.

Monthly courses need to be prepaid. You may pay for the monthly course up to 5 days before the first lesson of each month. You may also book an annual package lasting 9 months. Annual packages are paid in two installments.

Yes. Special offers and discounts may be available at different times in the year. In case you are an active GLA student, and you bring along a new student, both students get a 15% discount for the next package. Please contact us to find out more information.

Yes. You may freeze your monthly or annual package at any time.

Yes, you may cancel a lesson up to 24 hours before the scheduled time, otherwise it will be charged. Please let your teacher know up to 24 hours in advance, so that your lesson may be rescheduled. In the rare case of cancellation on behalf of your teacher, your lesson will be rescheduled according to your availability.

Yes, course material is provided by your teacher. You may also need to purchase an e-book with texts, and a workbook. Please discuss this with your appointed teacher.

Yes, at the end of every lesson your teacher will give you homework to do. This is essential so that you can practice what you have learned. In addition, through homework, your teacher will be able to check your progress and adjust your lessons accordingly.

Yes, you can. All students can take exams at any certified branch of the Center for the Greek Language, the official Greek language certification centre. Please contact us so that we can find which branch is near you.
