Celebrating Greek Independence Day at Greek Language Academy 🇬🇷✨

At Greek Language Academy, we had the honor and joy of celebrating March 25th through a special student-led project dedicated to this meaningful day in Greek history.
Commemorating the Greek War of Independence, our students explored the values of freedom, courage, and unity that shaped modern Greece. Through short theatrical performances, poetry, songs, and creative presentations, they brought history to life in thoughtful and inspiring ways.
They learned about heroic figures such as Theodoros Kolokotronis and Laskarina Bouboulina, discovering that freedom is never taken for granted, but earned through vision and sacrifice.
More than a celebration, this project was a powerful reminder that language carries history, identity, and values. By learning Greek, our students connect not only with words, but with a living cultural legacy.
We are incredibly proud of their enthusiasm, creativity, and respect for this important day.
