I was born and raised in Thessaloniki, a city full of history in northern Greece — and now I’m based in Switzerland. Since 2017, I’ve been a certified Greek language teacher (by the Centre for the Greek Language), but more than that, I’m someone who truly loves sharing my language and culture with others.
I studied Greek Language and Linguistics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where I also completed my Master’s in Applied Linguistics. Because I’ve always been passionate about words and communication, I also earned a Diploma in Applied Translation, and later specialized in Special Education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching Greek to people of all ages, from children to adults, whether they’re preparing for Ellinomatheia exams or simply want to connect with the Greek world.
This website is more than just a space for lessons — it’s a place that brings all my students together. Here, we are one big community: we learn, celebrate online, and honor Greek traditions and culture as a group.💙

Having Anna as my child's beginner Greek language teacher has been such a blessing. Where our family is located it was a challenge to find good quality in-person instructors, so finding an excellent online teacher was a must. Growing up as a Greek-American, I had various Greek teachers but I never looked forward to learning the language. However, weekly 90-minute meetings with Anna have changed that. Learning Greek with happiness and wisdom
Anna has a clear and effective teaching style and she provides students with individually-paced classes; she is also very flexible in scheduling classes. Guided listening is possibly my favorite part of our classes. First, listen to a dialogue and break it down into small pieces: new grammar, new expressions come out. Then, it is time to use such new knowledge and speak some Greek. Anna designs such parts with equilibrium, happiness and joy and classes are both useful and interesting. Turning to homeworks, Anna is a super dedicated teacher, she is fast to upload useful, clear and very well thought-through exercises. While we started only about 3/4 months ago, I think I learned a lot, as I can see by trying and communicating to Greek friends. I would definitely recommend Anna’s class to whoever has a genuine interest in learning Greek.
