The Greek Language Academy recently celebrated the 25th of March, a national anniversary that commemorates the start of the Greek War of Independence in 1821. Our little students from all over the world, from the USA, Europe, and Australia, came together to honor this historic day.
During the celebration, our students read beautiful texts about the significance of the day and recited heroic poems that captured the spirit of the Greek people. We were proud to see how much they had learned about our culture and history. To make the celebration more interactive, we also played games with our students to test their knowledge. It was heartwarming to see how much they had absorbed from our lessons. To capture the memories of this special day, a little photographer took some screenshots of the event. We will cherish these pictures as a reminder of how our students from different parts of the world came together to celebrate a common heritage.
At the Greek Language Academy, we are committed to fostering a love for the Greek language and culture among our students. Celebrations like these help us achieve that goal by creating a sense of community and shared identity.
We look forward to more events like this in the future, and we hope that our students will continue to be proud ambassadors of Greek culture in their respective communities.
